Permanent Roofline Lighting for Bountiful Homes
Bountiful sits on the bench between the Wasatch Mountains and the Great Salt Lake, with older blocks, mature trees, and views across the valley. The fit for your home is checked at your free design consult.
Established Homes on the Bench
Older Roof Edges, Mature Lots
The track is color-matched to your trim and sits flush along the roofline, so it fades into the fascia in daylight and only shows up when you turn it on.
Older homes can have eaves, trim details, and roof edges that differ from a new build, so we do not assume a standard mount. At the free design consult we look at your fascia in person, choose a mounting plan, and map the zones: front gable, porch, garage, and any second story. Everything is then controlled from the app on your phone.
Trees, Slopes, and Views
Lighting That Works With a Lot Full of Trees
Mature trees are one of the things people love about Bountiful. They also mean some roof edges sit under branches, and some streets climb the bench at an angle. Hanging strings from a ladder under overhanging limbs, on a sloped yard, is the kind of job a professional install removes. Because the system is zoned, we can plan runs that suit each part of the roof rather than forcing one pattern across the whole house.
Winter Evenings
Early Dark, Easy Scheduling
Winter dusk comes early on the east side of the valley, with the mountains close behind the bench. Set a warm white to come on at dusk and turn off later in the evening, then add a brighter look for holidays. See our guide on using permanent lights through long Utah winter evenings for simple schedule ideas.
Neighborhood Rules
HOA and Design Review
If you have an HOA or design review, check its rules first. We can provide install details for any approval request, and the low-profile track is designed to read as trim rather than as an obvious fixture.
Occasions
From December to Pioneer Day
Saved scenes can follow the Utah calendar: December holidays, Pioneer Day on July 24, and Jazz, Utes, and Cougars game nights. Each becomes a saved scene on the app. For more ideas, see holiday lighting and permanent lights on steep Utah roofs.
The track is low-profile and color-matched to your trim, so by day it reads as part of the house, then does what you set in the app after dark. If you are unsure, start with a single warm white scene and add color later.
Bountiful's streets run along the bench below the Wasatch Mountains, so many homes look out across the valley toward the Great Salt Lake. A roofline lit in warm white reads from a distance after dark, and zones let you shape it, for example by lighting the front gable and porch while leaving the sides dark. Everything can be adjusted from the app, and the free design consult is where we walk the roofline and decide which edges to light.
If you want the lights for more than the holidays, they work as accent light on an ordinary evening and as bright white security light when you want it. Both are scenes you can schedule, so the house is lit the way you choose without anyone going outside to flip a switch.
