How It Works

Your Salt Lake City Lights, Installed in Four Steps

Every install runs the same simple steps, no matter your roof. It starts with your first call and ends with full app control.

The Process

Four Steps, Then You Never String Lights Again

We handle every part of your install, from your first call to full app control. No ladders. No guesswork on your end.

Step 1

Free Design Consult

On a dry day we measure your roof and eaves, flag where ice builds, and ask what you want the lights to do - December, Jazz nights, warm white, or all of it. No pressure to decide on the spot.

Step 2

Custom Design

We map out your colors, zones, and control spot. We plan around your roof, eave depth, any heat cable, and your HOA rules.

Step 3

Expert Install

The crew fits a slim LED track that matches your trim. On steep Wasatch Front roofs, it tucks behind the drip edge and works around any heat cable. We confirm the timeline at your free design consult, not up front.

Step 4

App Walkthrough

Before we leave, your app is set up and working - scenes built, timers set, zones named. You will know how to switch looks and fix the basics before the crew drives off.

Install Day on a Salt Lake Roofline

What Install Day Looks Like on Your Roof

Install day looks a bit different on every home. Newer homes in Daybreak, Herriman, and Eagle Mountain tend to be two-story and stucco. There, the crew works on steeper roofs and deeper eaves. The track goes behind the drip edge and around any heat cable. Older brick bungalows in Sugar House and the Avenues have shorter eaves. The crew checks the best mount on site, not from a photo.

Whatever your roof, the crew works around the weather. Install happens on a dry day, not during a storm. If your community reviews outdoor fixtures, like Daybreak or Traverse Mountain, we can give you install details.

Built to Last

No Bulbs to Replace, No Yearly Re-Install

Once your system is live, it runs with almost no upkeep. The LED track is rated for 50,000-plus hours, and the sealed, sun-safe housing handles the swing from sub-zero mornings to hot summer afternoons with no fading. No bulbs to replace, no yearly re-install.

If a part ever needs a look, just reach out and we will check it. Since the system runs in zones, a problem in one small spot, like after a heavy ice storm, will not touch the rest of your display.

One System, Every Occasion

One Install Covers Holiday, Game Day, and Security Lighting

These four steps work the same whether you want a full holiday display, everyday light through permanent outdoor lighting, game day team colors, or security lighting. You do not pick just one. The same track and the same app switch between all of them once your install is done.

What to Expect

Your Timeline and Access Questions, Answered

How long does the whole process take, from first call to lights on?

It depends on your home and the season. Every project runs the same four steps: free design consult, custom design, expert install, and an app walkthrough. We confirm your timeline at the design consult, once we measure your roof and talk through what you want.

Do I need to be home for the install?

The crew works along your roofline and the outside of your home, so you mainly just need to give us access. It helps to be around near the end for the app walkthrough.
