Why Salt Lake Homeowners Are Switching
One Install Ends the Ladder Chore for Good
Hanging a holiday display in the Salt Lake valley means a ladder trip in late November, right as the first storms roll in. Then a second trip in January, when the roof edge is at its iciest. Permanent lighting ends both trips. It goes up once, and after that every look is one tap in an app - no re-hanging, no storage totes, no cold fingers untangling string.
The timing works in your favor too. The sun sets before five most of winter. Gray days keep the valley dim into the afternoon. A house lit up from mid-afternoon on gets noticed longer than almost anywhere else.

A Metro That Takes Holiday Lights Seriously
Your House Joins Temple Square's Light Season, No Ladder Needed
Salt Lake takes its holiday lights seriously. Temple Square draws crowds every December. Drive-through light shows fill lots from the south valley to Utah County. Thanksgiving Point puts on its own show. Ogden lights up its gardens too. Whole blocks, from the Avenues to Daybreak, go all-out every year. A permanent display puts your home in that mix, with no extra trip up a ladder.
The season does not stop at Christmas, either. Pioneer Day has its own red, white, and blue tradition here - fireworks, parades, and porches all across the valley. The same track that runs your December show switches to that look with one tap, no extra decor needed.
One System, Every Occasion
Thanksgiving to Christmas to Game Day, One Tap Away
Save a scene for each occasion and pull it up with one tap - no re-hanging, no re-doing it by hand.
One System, Every Occasion
One System Works the Other Eleven Months Too
Holiday lights are just one setting on your system. For the full year-round story, see permanent outdoor lighting in Salt Lake City. The same track also runs game day team colors and security lighting on a timer. The system that lights up your house in December works for you all year.
Built for Wasatch Front Winters
Built to Take On Ice Dams and Davis County Wind
A holiday display only matters if it can take a Utah winter. That means heavy snow, ice at the roof edge, and hard gusts through towns like Centerville and Farmington. The housing and LEDs are built for it, not just the colors.
How It Works
From Free Design Consult to Your First Display in Four Steps
Every install runs the same four steps.
1. Free Design Consult
We visit on a dry day. We check your roof for ice spots. We pick a good spot for the control box.
2. Custom Design
We plan your colors and zones, and plan the fastening for wind and dark 5 pm December nights.
3. Expert Install
We mount the track tight to your roof edge. We seal it against freeze and thaw. We finish before the first storm, so no one climbs a ladder.
4. App Walkthrough
You leave with your scenes set up. A Jazz look, a warm white look, and a Pioneer Day look are ready to use.
Common Questions
Your Utah Winter and HOA Questions, Answered
Do permanent lights work through a Utah winter, or just for the holidays?
All year. The same track runs a full color show through the December dark, Pioneer Day red, white, and blue in July, and a warm white glow the rest of the year.
Will snow and ice damage a permanent holiday display?
The housing is sealed and mounts low and tight against the roofline, so it stays put through winter instead of being taken down and stored. If a part acts up after a storm, that part gets checked on its own.
Will my HOA have a problem with a holiday display?
The track is low-profile and color-matched. It reads as a normal trim detail in daylight. Communities like Daybreak and Traverse Mountain do review outdoor fixtures. Check your own rules first.
